TMT POSITIVE THEN NEGATIVE

Asked for Male, 25 Years

I am 25 years old...going a complete check up for heart ..ecg was normal..echho was normal.then tmt comes positive but i dont have any problem or pain at the time of exercise.so for conformation i did tmt test again then it came normal or negative..why first tmt was positive..or i need to further evaluation.

TMT is not a sure test, 30% of times it can be false positive. But since you have no symptoms, and other TMT is negative, you dont need any furthur tests
