25 mm is the minimum limit for mouth opening , any value less than which makes it difficult for dentist to operate or check your oral cavity . In order to achieve the required mouth opening limit , certain exercises are advised by the dentist which if done on regular basis , help in enhancing the mouth opening.
In case of wisdom tooth extraction , ideally if mouth opening is less for the procedure MR is advised to be taken one night before the procedure and one 1hour prior to the procedure.
But kindly check with the surgeon again if it's adequate enough for the procedure.
Next Steps
Visit the dentist and get an insight of the complete protocol.
