Bite correction and orthotratment  takes time,  the changes are gradual.  Don't  panic. If u r in doubt,  consult ur orthodontist  and get things cleared with him.

Hi ! First of all, do not let your appearance be a cause of low self esteem for you. Secondly, as you describe it, the jaw clenching and the facial assymetry with dislocated bite are two different issues. For the jaw clenching, if the splint is not working, Botox is a wonderful option which will reduce the load on your Joint by relaxing the muscle, and also it will narrow down your broad jawline to an extent. For the facial asymmetry, you need to consult an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon so he can evaluate in detail and tell whats the best plan for you. As far as the dislocated bite goes, I'm sure your orthodontist is taking care of that.
Next Steps
Botox for jaw clenching And Facial assessment by an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Health Tips
Some results are limited(Not possible) by Ortho, so please don't be under that impression that Ortho will change Facial Asymmetry. Ortho will only correct malaligned teeth and improve your smile line. Incase you need Botox/Facial assessment, feel free to contact me. And please don't let your appearance cause anxiety or any sort of complex for you. What you have is great, and it can always be made better by expert doctors around you. Wish you the best.
