Tinnitus and Hyperacusis
I have mild ringing in left ear from 9 months and sound sensitivity from certain sounds (sounds from TV, mobile, speakers etc even at moderate volume). I have tried Gingko Biloba and Neurobian in the past (3 months back) but did not see any improvement. So, I use foam/silicon ear plugs to protect my hearing from loud noises and from sounds from TV, speakers. I am doing overall okay though my quality of life is restricted. Recently I visited a doctor and he prescribed Tinnicar (Caroverine 20mg) for 1 month and Ginkoba M. I am not sure if Tinnicar can help and I want to know if it can cause any side effects? Basically I don't want to over Medicare myself since I have accepted this issue. Any guidance will be very helpful. Attached my Hearing test and impendence test results. Thanks.

Tinnicar (Caroverine) blocks the action of glutamate in brain thus reducing tinnitus severity, it also has inner ear protective properties. As with any other medicines it also has some side effects like headache nausea dizziness etc,
