Tinitus since last 6 years
I am suffering from tinitus in both ears since last 6 years. I have observed that, this buzzing sound remains continuously ON for 3 to 4 days in both ears and then stops for a day. After a day or two again it starts and remain ON for another few days then again stops for a day. I do not have blood pressure. I do not smoke. I drink occasionally. Is this a sign of tinitus? Can it be cured? Kindly advice.

The treatment of tinnitus is avoidance. Pure tone audiometry should be done to rule out any pathology.
