Thecal sac indentation at C3-C6 on MRI may suggest compression or pressure on the spinal cord or nerves in your neck region, which could be causing the tingling, numbness, and pain in your fingers. To determine the extent and severity of nerve damage, nerve conduction studies (NCS) may be recommended by your doctor. NCS is a diagnostic test that measures the electrical activity of nerves and muscles. It can help determine if the nerves in your arms and hands are functioning properly or if there is any damage or impairment. Based on the results of your NCS, your doctor can recommend the appropriate treatment for your condition. It is important to follow your doctor's advice and treatment plan to manage your symptoms and prevent any further damage to your nerves.
