Tibial bone fracture just below the knee
2 Plates & 14 screws in 2000 with reduced lateral knee joint space. He wasn't feeling any pain until last year when he accidentally hurt the same knee again. He is 60 yrs old & its been 17 years since the first injury. He is havin troubles climbing up & down the staircase/inclined roads. He feels tightness around the knee & like his knee will buckle. The doctor suggested HWR & knee replacement surgeries. He is overweight & we are scared the screw holes will weaken the bone & won't take his weight.
