Hi,
My wife has been diagnosed with thyroiditis. Doctor has suggested to take Prednisone for pain. She is taking this since last 6 weeks.
How long can this medicine be continued as pain is still there. Are there any major side effects?

Medication continues till patient situation and prednisone is a steroid…it’s a good medication with side effects also and we can’t stop this medication suddenly,its doses will be tapered down slowly.
