Thyroid TSH High
Dear Doctor, I am suffering from thyroid.On 19-Feb-2017 my TSH level was 32.After taking Thyronorm 25 mcg for 1 month my TSH level was 17. I consulted a doctor and he prescribed me 100 mcg of Thyronorm. <Request> I want your opinion about my current dose of Thyronorm. I am in 8th week of pregnancy and little worried.

It is most important to treat hypothyroidism in early pregnancy as the baby is not capable to synthesizing thyroid hormone before 12 weeks. So a quick normalization of thyroid functions is important. Please review with your weight as well for opinion on dose of thyronorm.
