If the TSH level is high, and t3t4 are normal it's subclinical hypothyroidism.Treatment is required if only she is symptomatic or her TSH level is above 10. Repeat the thyroid function tests with anti TPO level after 2 months to compare.

Treatment for hypothyroidism is usually started when TSH levels are above 10 mIU/L. If TSH is elevated but less than 10, it is termed subclinical hypothyroidism and typically does not require treatment unless the patient is symptomatic, pregnant, or has positive anti-TPO antibodies. Please provide the relevant clinical details so that appropriate management can be advised.
