Thyroid problem in 45 years old women
My one aunt is 45 year old and have thyroid problem. and her thyroid level is 17 .which type food take and which type food avoid in this situation.

Usually food doesn't have much importance in thyroid problems as per the latest journals. But still you can avoid cauliflower,  cabbage, soybean, meat from the daily diet. Once in a while consumption does not alter thyroid. Start taking iodized salt. Dr. Swati Aggarwal General Physician

Hi., I can understand your concern. She needs to take a proper dose of medicine. Share more details regarding her previous TSH levels and medicine. She should avoid processed foods and oily foods. A simple home made diet is fine. With that regular walking and mild exercise would be perfect.
