Thyroid problem
I would like to know that my father is having thyroid since last 4 months and it was 11.5 , he was having medicine thyronorm 50 mg , so when should he continue the same medicine to get normal .

Thyroid medicines are permanent as the deficiency of the naturally produced thyroid hormone in the body will be permanent. He will have to repeat the test so that his dose can be adjusted.
