Thyroid problem
I diagnosed with thyroid problem at the time of my pregnancy and its continuing post pregnancy as well. my doctor adviced me to continue thyronorm for next 3 months. I wanted to know whether I can have it or not as I am feeding my baby and she is 2 months old.

U can continue, but keep checking your thyroid status and titrate the Thyronorm dose to decrease to stop it at earliest otherwise you will land up continuing life long

hi, i hope your family pediatric doctor advised thyroid test for the baby if not done plz do thyroid test screen.. throgh the breast milk, some amount thyronorm drug will be transferred, no need to worry. you can continue on breastfeeds

Thyronorm is basically a form of natural thyroid hormone, you can certainly breastfeed while taking this tablet
