Having Neck pain from 3-4 months Neck sonography shows two collide nodules One around 5×4 cm and one of 4 mm Went for FNAC report One shows medullary carcinoma category 6 Did another FNAC in different hospital.. it showed hashimotosis category 2 What we should do? TSH, t3, t4 are normal Calcitonin <2 mg (ideal <8mg)

Get you medullary thyroid carcinoma slides reviewed by good pathologist for second Calcitonin is normal on this.  Get your neck and vocal cords checked too as part of clinical examination for thyroid If Medullary thyroid carcinoma(MTC) is confirmed, 1. Please get plasma /urine metanephrines to rule out pheochormocytoma(other associated endocrine tumours with MTC 2. get  Surgery done (Total Thyroidectomy) 3. Get genetic testing for RET proto-oncogene

Review the slide that shows medullary ca thyroid from a good reference lab. If it shows the same , you will need surgery Different samples of fnac can have different histology due to variability of tumor distribution Ao i wid suggest get the review of the slide done
