Thyroid medication
Hi .. I just got the report of tsh test done and it showed 11.58 microlU/ml . So I guess I have hypothyroidism if so can I not loose weight without having thyroid medications . And if I start having medicines for hypothyroid will it be for lifetime?

Your tsh level is not the cause of weight gain. You will have to control it by diet and exercise. However, you do need to be started on thyroid medication and it will be lifelong.
