Thyroid issue
My TSH test value is 6.4...I am feeling fatigue, dizzy, low energetic.. What can I do now?? Please suggest me my diet and medication if needed??

Hi.. Thanks for contacting practo for health query.I am a senior physician Dr.Shanmugavadivu answering your question. You have fatiguability for which you have taken up investigation and it has turned to be mildly elevated TSH. We do not start on immediate therapy for mild TSH elevation if asymptomatic .TSH more than1O mIU mandates treatment even if asymptomatic  But you are symptomatic and have mild TSH elevation so may be you can proceed on with TPO antibody testing and if that turns positive meet a physician and get treated. Regarding diet take plenty of seafood and fruits.Avoid cauliflower,cabbage and radish.Use iodised salt. Hope this helps
