Thyroid in pregnancy
Hello, I am 4 weeks pregnant. I have a family history of hypothyroidism. I checked my TSH in December 2023 which was 4.32. I has had my bloods checked again, it shows positive antibodies (anti TPO positive) with 7.71 of tsh. I just started tablets today. I am concerned is it too late or too high? I read about risk of foetal abnormalities and brain development with underactive thyroid in pregnancy if it is above 2.5. Thank you
