My mother had suffered from hypothyroidism and currently taking thyronorm 100 MCG. Recently she had tested for t3, t4 and tsh, tsh value is 5.670 and her age is 56. So my concern is the dose of thyronorm is increase or continue with the same. Kindly suggest.
Thanks in advance.

The dose adjustment depends on what date you have last got her tested and this tsh 5.670 is of which date, accordingly dose is adjusted. But if this the most recent one then the dose has to be increased but only when all other history is known, with this half data, advising anything will not bring good results for her. Normally tsh should be below 1, and dose is adjusted mostly in every 3 months.
