Thyroid during pregnancy
My wife is having thyroid and was taking Thyronorm 50mcg. After conceiving doctor suggested to raise it to 75 mcg and she is taking since the date of conception. Now she is in 2nd trimister and her weight is reducing instead of gain. The question is whether to continue 75 mcg or reduce back to 50 mcg for weight gain. Kindly advise.

This dose of thyroxin should not cause weight loss. Get her Free T4 and TSH levels done. Look for other causes.
