My father in law is 64 year old k/c/o of lung cancer, who is on Rx. He is taking Sorafenib , his platelet count came down to 1.2 lakhs , is it fine? Anything to worry.

Please share more details..Sorafenib is not given for lung cancer.

Why is he taking sorafenib for lung cancer and that too when he is also getting radiation therapy..? 1.2 L plt may be ok if it is not dropping further..
