Throat ulcer, no voice

Asked for Female, 55 Years

Had throat ulcer 3 weeks ago, consulted ent specialist and took medicines. Ulcer has healed but no voice is coming, not able to speak. It is been more than 3 weeks. Kindly suggest

I am not really sure what you mean by throat ulcer as this has got no relation with your voice problem. infection involving vocal Cords or voice producing system of your throat can lead to hoarseness of voice or change in pitch of voice. this condition is known as acute simple laryngitis. with regular medicines its supposed to be alright by couple of weeks. if its still persisting you should consult nearby ENT specialist for examination of your throat
