I have throat problem, whenever I have soft drinks or cold water or something which is cold my throat gets irritated and becomes red inside.Also from last few days i am feeling very itchy in throat and when I try to drink water it feels something is in between and pains while eating.

Hello possible causes like pharyngitis...upper respiratory tract infection should be ruled out Do salt watet gargling twice daily before having food...its bettr to avoid cold items consult physician and ent specialist for further evaluation and treatment.i hope this helps to solve your problem.
