When I lie down on my left side, I am experiencing pain on the upper left side of the adam's apple if I swallow sometimes. It feels like something is stuck at that place when I swallow lying down. I consulted one or two doctors for gas related issues along with throat discomfort in the past two months where I was told I am suffering from acid reflux/Gerd. I also consulted an ENT and he told the throat pain is due to pharangitis with globus. But the pain when I lie down like I explained at the top is very new. For the acid reflux I am on a PPI course and for the throat discomfort I am doing gargles as directed by the doctor.
Is the pain I am experiencing due to acid reflux or something else?
