Throat pain
Often I ll b getting pain in rite side of my throat. sometime I find diffclt to spk. Vomiting sensation n sometimes muscles ll b pulling in d sme region. I cnsltd Dr. He told mayb its bcz of tonsils. He suggested me fr surgery. What ll happen if I ignore tonsils?

hi,
your symptoms are not typical of tonsillitis
there is condition known as elongated styloid process also known as eagle's syndrome, sometimes it may present with similar symptoms
get a ct scan with 3d reconstruction of styloid process to confirm
other condition which can present similarly is cervical spine problems which has to be ruled out
before undergoing tonsillectomy better rule out above conditions
tonsillitis is not a serious condition and there won't be any long term consequences if you don't undergo surgery
