Throat pain
My throat has been paining since 1 week..i consulted dr..he said its just an infection..n will be fine within 3-4 days..but since its been 6 days there is no relief and the pain is getting more harsh..i have tried all the home remedies and also the medicines given by dr..but there is not effect. What shud be done?

hello there.
may be the first line antibiotics given has not worked. reason for this could be that the bacteria which has caused this is resistant to that particular antibiotic.
get a throat swab test done. and consult a ENT surgeon.
do gargles using a povidone idodine gargle solution thrice a day.
