Throat  blocking
My small tongue (uvula) has enlarged and touches to tongue after intersection gap between uvula and tongue decreases.futher leading to blocking .one of the doctor if u want to do separation of uvula and tongue there is a need of surgery.and doctor recommended there will be no problem of intersection of uvula and tongue.

Elongated uvula usually occurs secondary to reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder or in people who snore. Surgery is usually a last resort. Usually a course of anti reflux medications needs to be taken before surgery is done
