Thought Correction
I had been diagnosed with Depression and Anxiety around a year ago. I had some improvements over time and things are fairly stable. However, negative thought patterns are still present and affecting daily life activities somehow. I am struggling to start CBT on own and honestly going to Psychiatrist appointment seems difficult in the new town especially when the stress and physical symptoms of depression and anxiety are minimal. Does CBT seem most helpful in this case.? What may be the most helpful ways to START with CBT ?

Hi.... Take steps to control stress, to increase your resilience and boost your self-esteem. Reach out to family and friends, especially in times of crisis, to help you weather rough spells. Get treatment at the earliest sign of a problem to help prevent depression from worsening. Consider getting long-term maintenance treatment to help preven,t a relapse of symptoms.... Consult Psychiatrist...
