Thick yellow layer on the back of tongue

Asked for Male, 17 Years

Actually after i eat then after some hours a thick yellow layer is formed at the back part of my tongue near to the throat . i am also suffering bad breath. Is this the reason behind my bad breath. Also my tongue does not appears as red as it should be . whom should i consult a physician or dentist for this issue. Thank you.
