Hi.. Thalassemia screening usually involves tests like CBC (Complete Blood Count) and Hb electrophoresis. CBC checks hemoglobin, MCV, MCH values—important for detecting thalassemia traits. WBC count is part of the CBC but not directly used for thalassemia diagnosis. Hb electrophoresis confirms the presence of abnormal hemoglobin types.
