Tetany gettin worsen by each passing day
Dr I am 33 year old lady n pregnant for 7 months. Suffering from severe preeclampsia.
I am experiencing severe tetany these days .
Along with pedal edema n severe breathlessness.
Taking calcium 2000mg per day n calcirol 60k I.u. per day with other medications..ORS also included..But condition is worsening by each passing day.
Plz help

Hello...... Not only hyppcalcemia, hypomagnessemia, respiratory alcholosis, metabolic acidosis can also cause tetany.. So complete electrolytes analysis is required for treatment... Order for complete electrolytes and consult gynaecologist or general physician with report...
