I got a stapler pin stuck in my finger today..do i need a tetanus shot..how long after should one take it if yes.

Tetanus toxoid inj has to be taken within 24 hrs of injury especially if the objected is rusted and the wound is deep
If you have been immunised for TT then no need
If TT shot was taken within past 6 months then no need
If none of the above then better to take one within 24 hrs

No need to panic bro if it was a rusted staple u need a tetanus intramuscular otherwise no need
