Tetanus injection
My son got a small injury on his skin yday by a nail. Should i get him tetanus injection?? He is goin to be 3 years old in nov.

Contrary to common belief,ALL wounds do NOT require tetanus shot.
If it's very deep or a over a large area,like a burn,nothing to be done.
Local wound management is important,though.

he must have already received Tetanus shot in his DTP boosters at 18 months. hence no need to give tetanus shot separately, since he already has immunity from those vaccinations for now
