Tetanus injection for hurt having cough

Asked for Female, 30 Years

My daughter is 3years old. She got hurt by iron on her hand & her skin peeled off from her hand.blood came alot..but wound is not very deep & immediately I put her hand under running water and clean it and put first aid. Night before yesterday. She is also having cold and cough, so should I take her for tetanus injection or not? Her last vaccine was of DTP at 18th months.

Dear parents, Tetanus shot is preferable given with in 24hrs of injury irrespective of cold and cough.
