Tetanus injection
I had taken tt injection 2 months back in mumbai when rusted nail went in my leg. today i got a scratch from rusted nail and it bleed a little bit. is tt injection required again?

As you said , you already took a tetanus toxoid dose in the recent past that is just 2 months back , there is no need for another
Although you should carefully observe the wound and clean it with medicated soap and water or you can even apply antibiotic cream like Soframycin to prevent future contamination of the wound

Hi..Since you received a tetanus toxoid (TT) injection just 2 months ago, you do not need another TT injection now for this minor injury. A TT booster is generally valid for up to 5 years for minor wounds and 6 months to 1 year in high-risk cases. Just clean the wound thoroughly with soap and water and apply an antiseptic.
