I want to consult a doctor for my excessive hairfall and acne marks. But before that i want to take few tests and go for consultation. I had dengue 3 months back and I'm also having pcod. A doc told me to take tests for CBC, Vit B12, Vit D3, Fasting Thyroid profile and Ferritin level. But I couldn't visit that doc now. So I want to know if these tests are enough before consulting a doc?

You "might" need hormone profile but that decision can be taken after a dermatologist evaluates you
Also understand blood tests don't replace what a dermatologist will see with his / her eyes
Blood tests cannot diagnose all disorder
You are suffering from hormonal changes causing Androgenetic alopecia causing hair fall. It's completely stoppable even regrowth of hair is possible with certain medications without any side effects. Treatment depends on the grade of hair loss. So, it's a must for diagnosing which grade, you are in for an effective treatment.
