  4. Terrible pain in ear. Is unbearable now?

Terrible pain in ear
Started with throat pain around 4 days ago followed by cold. Took homeopathic , throat seems fine however I am having pain in the ear since yesterday and today when I woke up it has increased and ear feels a bit numb and cannot sleep on the right side of the head (pain in right ear only ). Please suggest a medicine as the pain is unbearable now

Hi, throat infection causes blockage of Eustachian tube opening in pharynx. Which causes numbness or feeling of blockage in ear. And causes ear pain. Once throat infection is reduced ear pain will reduce automatically. If you are not taking antibiotics start that. Do salt water gargling twice daily.Consult general physician for furthur evaluation and treatment.
