Dear Doctor,
I have a very hoarse throat with throat pain due to talking loudly or speaking and stressing the throat.
No cough and No cold.
Please help to reduce this throat pain.

It can be due to inflammation of your voice box .
It usually eases and goes away, usually within a week.
But if fever /swollen neck glands / breathing difficulty consult inmediately

You can try paracetamol/ibuprofen to ease pain
You can try salt water gargle /betadine gargle also - will help with sore throat
Health Tips
Try including the following for better recovery
Voice rest
Drink plenty of water
Steam inhalation with mouth open
Avoid things which irritate your larynx
This includes cigarette smoke, caffeine and alcohol.
