My son 2 months old feels a little hot on his forehead. Checked his axillary temperature which is 98.1 F. He weighs around 4.9kgs. Took his feed well and is active. Is it normal? Please advise.

Yes,this is normal.
Head, palms and soles of feet are warmer than rest of the body in children.
If temperature is above 100 or baby is dull and not feeding, consult your paediatrician asap.

If no other associated symptom arise....no need to worry..... observe for few days.....if fever occurs(as 98.1 F is normal temperature) then consult with local pediatrician...
