Hello sir..
Wisdom teeth can be treated in 2 ways.... if the teeth is fully erupted and you are having the problem of cavitated teeth x-ray has to be taken and depends on the extent of cavitation , treatment option should be made... if the cavity is superficial then filling can be done...if the cavity is deep reaches innermost pulpal layer and very close to pulp then removal of teeth should be done.....
If the wisdom teeth is not fully erupted and you are having symptoms of pain then you need to go for surgical removal followed by analgesics and antibiotics...x-ray has to be taken to rule out the position of wisdom teeth before removal

If your wisdom tooth has already erupted and is decayed so go for restoration or root canal if it is deeply carious . And if it is impacted go for extraction.
3rd molar( 8 no. Teeth) is generally treated in 2 ways . If it is completely erupted and carious , it is restored by filling or any other conservative treatment. But if the teeth is not erupted( due to lack of space), you will have to get it extracted .
