Tea tree oil side effects
Hello Dr. Due to pcod problem Last week I got too much acne breakouts on sides of both cheeks. And to cure the same I applied tee tree oil 2 time a day ( noon and night) on the effected area after applying sunscreen but wihout diluting. I am using tee tree oil for last few months at night by diluting the same with night cream. I did not get any side effects. But as of now on last saturday, I noticed redness over the area I applied. Then i stop apllying it directly. Then last night I used toner which is vitamin c and my effected area is almost looking like burn now too much redness and burning. Dont know what to do. And how to cure. Please guide and suggest me the precautions and medication I can go through. Thank u!

Treatment depends on the grade...Acne or  pimples... Due to hormonal changes..Oily skin causes it...Common in adolescent age...May occur in adults also.. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it.. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne..So, please  send photos by direct online consultation as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Acne occuring due to PCOS like you say you have,would need a more holistic approach to treat and just creams may not work adequately.Please send pictures to analyse the current problem and help accordingly.
