TB patient, on medication, indigestion
This is regarding my grandfather, aged 82, recently detected with Tb. It's been 1+ months now since he is on medication for Tb. But concern is he is not able to eat properly solid food. Only able to have juices. After every try to eat solid foods, he is nauseous and vomits. Any suggestions or practices that can be applied so he can have meals properly?

Difficulty in swallowing food is know as dysphagia .
It's can be sude effect of ATT treatment .
Take consultation for correct diagnosis and treatment.

You can take Proton pump inhibitors, antiemetic , Digestive juice ,and Multivitamin.

You should take sufficient amount of water and take less spicy and fatty food .
You should take protein food in diet.

Medications given in TB are very strong medications and may have certain side effects.
Give Zofer MD 8mg : 1 hour before each meal till nausea or vomiting completely subsides.
Inj Ondem can also be given in sever vomiting.
Apart from that give Bayers Tonic : 10ml once daily after lunch for 1 month as it would improve his appetite and chronic illness

Give him Tab Ondem 4mg before breakfast & before dinner for 3 days
Avoid spicy and oily food
