TB patient on extreme continuous vomit
The patient is on TB medication for 20 days. Then he got continuously vomiting unable to eat or drink and patient is very much dehydrated. So Doctor advised to take a break of 7 days of TB treatment tablets. He is giving now Taxim injection which will continue for next 5 to 6 days along with other injections. So is there any thing to worry about break in TB treatment of 7days. Please reply.

If having continuous vomiting get your Liver Function Test done and check whether there is any derangement. 1 week interruption is okay, but restart it as soon as possible. If your LFT is okay, then try to take ATT under cover of antiemetics. Consult for further detailed evaluation

He can take tab.esomac d40,on empty stomach, wait for half an hour,and later he can take Att.No problem,if you can stop for some time.in certain circumstances, Att can be taken after food also.pl consult Pulmonologist online with all the reports and treatment taken..Lft to beonitored.
