How long does a person with TB remains contagious or can spread germs to other person? After medicine is started? Also can BCG vaccine protect infant from TB? Please confirm on this 2 aspects?

Within 2-3 weeks of starting atd infectivity is strikingly diminished.bcg vaccine does not prevent TB but it prevent development of serious form of TB   like disseminated TB ; TB meningitis.
