Tasteless tongue

Asked for Female, 40 Years

I am not able to taste salt and sugar , only while swallowing the food I am feeling the taste...I am 40 and no bad habit , only taking thyroid medicine in morning , consulted dentist , he gave me multivitamin and neurobin forte .... want to know is it curable and how much time it will take or I need to consult other field doctor or any tests ... this problem is from last 10 days, no other dental problem I have , tongue is ok also ,as shown to dentist .... please advise
