Im gonna undergo scaling of teeth for the first time.I've heard that scaling leads to permanent damage of teeth and ruin gums. Will it do so???

Hello, scaling and polishing is the most common procedure carried out in day to day practice by every dentist. scaling of teeth does not cause any damage, it is not an invasive procedure,it just removes the deposits formed on the teeth.visit a dentist and get your scaling and polishing done every 6 months.
