Taking Omnacortil  Giant cell vasculitis
I am suffering from Giant cell vasculitis and polymyagia Rheumetica... My normal dose is 15mg But during flaresup ,I need to take 40mg ... I am just 33...but it's also important to take this medicine for eyes and circulation... Is it important to take Vitamin D3 along with steroids ?

It is better to take Vitamin D3 along with long term steroids(Omnacortil) as it can reduce the occurrence of side effect of the steroids which is known to cause pathological fractures on long term use.
