Taking fever medicines
When we get fever, our body heats to kills the virus that is causing fever then why do we have to take medicine to lower the temperature ?

It’s always better to take medicine ( antipyretic ) to reduce the body temperature and keep it under normal limits . If incase the body temperature is not controlled , then , there are effects on the body like - convulsions - hallucinations etc So always better to take medications and keep the temperature at 98.6f
