Taking Evitol since 3 months
I have NAFLD with normal bilirubin and sgpt and sgot elevated but under 100. Doctor prescribed Evitol 200 bd and I am taking it for more than 3 months. Liver enzymes are in normal range now and previous problems also improved. Can I continue Evitol for a year, can there be any bad effect?

Dear Sir, You have Metabolic Dysfunction associated Steatotic Liver disease (MASLD, previously called as NAFLD) You should continue Vitamin E supplements for a year. Instead of EVITOL (which is a combination of Vitamin E and Omega fatty acids), you may switch to EVION 400mg (Vitamin E only). There are no major adverse effects of long term Vitamin E supplementation in literature.
