Taking duphaston during pregnancy!
Manufacturer precaution clearly states that, taking Duphaston increases the probabiloty of having adverse side effects including breast cancer, ovarian cancer, coronary artery disease, stroke etc. (Pl. See image) Despite the same, for bicornuate utreus, it is reccomended by our gynaec to take duphastone, through the term of pregancny, till delivery!. Is it that long term effects are neglected, or alternatives are not available, or its a mis-diagnosis? I am quiet in a trauma after reading manufactuere disaclaimer!

If you read the product monogram of even a medicine as simple as crocin you will never be able to consume a single tablet!!! This is a progesterone which is known to support pregnancy and prevent an abortion it is generally used up to 12 weeks It is definitely not a miss diagnosis!! You can choose not to take it and see how your natural hormones support your pregnancy As with a bicornate uterus the chances of abortion may be there
