Yes you can continue till 2 days before surgery. Ideally avoid 2 days before surgery as you don’t want any new bacteria/viruses in the eye. Use antibiotic drops one day before surgery. No swimming till atleast 20 days to a month after surgery

Swimming after cataract surgery can be done after clearance from your operating surgeon
